What, are they trying to make Martian Manhunter into the JLU's Plastic Man???

I like the new intro, btw, music and all.

Kid's Stuff was awesome. Really good writing in this episode. The dialogue between the Leaguers really flowed well. The episode had a high imagination quotient and was pretty action filled. They really have perfected the art of packing as much as they can while letting everyone involved have their moments to shine. I recommend catching this episode whenever ya can.

I watched it yesterday during a short break while I was at home. It was highly amusing.

All quotes aren't exact . . . but they're pretty damn close.

* The child version of John Stewart as GL is the closest you'll probably ever see to him being like Kyle . . . including the "mask" which were his idea of "cool glasses" since Bruce made fun of his "dorky" glasses that first appeared on his face ("I must need them again.").

* Diana smacking the back of Clark's head in a, "Stop wasting time!" thing.

* "Man, for someone with 50 kinds of vision you sure are blind."

* "We'll find all your mothers . . . and I'm gonna tell!"

* "Now that's a job for Superman."

* "I change my mind, I'll go with Bruce."

* "Your girl from Troy sure is bossy."
"Shut up."

* "Mommy!"

Not to sound too gay, but I'd buy a plush Baby Etrigan.

I think it was,

Kid Lantern: Your girlfriend sure is bossy.

Batboy: Shut up!

I thought that GL line said a lot.

The episode was really good. A great mix of "World Without Grown Ups" and "Sins of Youth"

Darn it! I missed it completly and I was going to watch it too!

*sigh* What time is it on again on Sunday nights? I ran out after I got back from my trip last night and forgot all about it. Athough, now I'm thinking I wasn't even back from the airport when it was on. *sigh*

I agree with you regarding GL's comment. Actually, GL seemed to pick up a lot of what's going on between the two of them - with his " 50 types of vision/you're blind" comment to Supes, etc., but did anyone get the feeling that this flirtation is all coming from WW? When she was debating whether to go with Clark or Bruce, Batboy didn't seem to care who she picked. And just prior to GL's "girlfriend" comment, she gave Batboy a subtle look that he seemed to ignore. Also, when she caught him after he fell and called him "tough guy" he was all like, "let me go!" Or is this typical behavior from an 8-y.o. boy who doesn't want anyone to know that he has a crush?

Same thing with the Starcrossed movie

SPOILERS

- when they were hiding from the hawk people in the restaurant, she totally made the moves - not that he minded, but still...

It seems that Bats is flattered, but he's Bats and doesn't seem to have time for this flirting - not even as a kid....

PS - Someone else said it above, but I also want a plush baby Etrigan toy! Who knew the Demon could be so cute?!

This week's episode = good. Ends a bit abruptly, though. And the dialogue at the end gets a bit hokey, but still good.

I like how Ron Zimmerman threw in his real life experience of getting his arse beat over a political conversation in a bar into the story for this episode.

I was kinda kiddin' when I said that I wouldn't like this show...

But when I got the opportunity to download the first episode the other day, I decided I wasn't--Boring as pissshitfuckcuntbloodytardinghell.

But because Chris taped em', I also got to see "Man Who Has Everything" and "Kid Stuff". Thoroughly likeable.

I got to see this one today. I wasn't impressed. I understood what the presence of Hawk and Dove did, but that didn't make their characters any less annoying.

Either way, I still want my hour long formats back.

JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED UPDATE

Amy Acker, best known as Fred on The WB's Angel, is providing a guest-voice for an upcoming episode of Justice League Unlimited, The Continuum has learned.

Acker is voicing The Huntress in an episode called "Double Date" that will air next season on Cartoon Network.

Acker, 28, joined the cast of Angel in 1999. She also appeared last year in the CBS movie Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt.

The episode also features Green Arrow, Black Canary and The Question. Kin Shriner is returning as Green Arrow, and Jeffrey Combs is doing the voice of The Questions.

There will be other guest voices for the episode that will be announced at a later date.

The Huntress made a brief apperance in "Initiation," the season opener of Justice League Unlimited, as one of the dozens of heroes in the Watchtower.

I enjoyed the episode, as I have every JLU episode so far, but overall I thought it was a bit too liberally biased, and that's saying a lot considering I'm a liberal.

I understand the message Zimmerman was trying to get across (it ain't too hard to figure out) but I think it would have said a lot more if the brothers Hawk and Dove had somehow come to an understanding, or even seen each other halfway, to defeat Ares' plan. A little give from BOTH sides would have been nice to see.

The ending was a bit too "nice & easy" for me. Both sides just walked away? I know this is a toon, but come on . . . I don't think that'd happen . . . and I know there'll be more "aftermath" that we won't see. I just feel kinda like it was too abrupt.

How could they both give though? Do you really think that Hawk would be able to just stand there in front of the machine/armour and do nothing?

I do have to say though, the big in the Invisible Jet when they're talking about who works in the Pentagon (was it the Pentagon?) made me chuckle.

I also would've like to see more of Hephestus & Ares with Diana . . . those sceens were way too short. This is one of the times I'd like to have an hour to flesh it out some more . . . especially to give more of a clue as to Diana's anger/rage "of late".

Yet another episode I missed. *sigh* I'm starting to think I'll never see a full episode at this rate, much less either remember to watch it when I am home, or just be home when it's on.

Don't get me started on why I don't set the vcr. It's cruisin' for a bruisin'.
