I'm not either.

By the by, two things today: THe first being that today is El Doctoro's birthday, so be sure to send him lots of gay porn links.

The second is today is my two year anniversary at Rob's. I don't whether to be happy or sad.

Thank you. As far as the poster, I doubt it; but Grimm does have a picture of himself dressed up as Evil Lynn that he's dieing to send out.

Wait until you see the looks on their faces when Grimm pulls out his magic wand.

Ok. Just painted a big target on Adem's back.

Big thanks for the post actually...I've been trying to think of what to write with Lykopis and Grimm, you and the Doc have been most helpful. I'll try and post tomorrow in the afternoon, assuming the girls I'm babysitting don't tie me up in the living room while 'playing Jedi'.

Oh, and Icarus really reminds me of Dennis Quaid from The Right Stuff now...

Got real busy with work and personal stuff over the last couple of weeks, and had a bad stomach virus this weekend. Trying to ease back into the writing and finish up the Siege, also.

Got a little bored here at work and wrapped the training session up. No one else had written for a while, so I hope no one minds.

You don't know how damn hard it was to resist Dirk making all hell break loose. But I just decided that this is just a computer simulation that can't have the destructive and homicidal tendencies of the real character.

I was tempted to have the computer simulation of Dirk talk like John Wayne since, to the best of my knowledge, Dirk and Adem/Jym had never met before. Thought that would've been amusing.

Kinda sad to see the training session wrap, though. I'd wanted to add more stuff, but didn't want to post right on the back of a post as long-winded as my last one, for fear that people'd think I was hogging the story. Ah, well... I'm sure there'll be other training sessions to play with...

I'm working on an idea for a character. As JD knows, it may turn out sucking like all hell. We'll see.

I know how you feel. Been there myself. I say that if no one has done anything for three or so days, go right on ahead.

Indeed. Pretty much, we're ready to go into issue one. If anybody needs extra time to finish anything before then, let me know beforehand.

I wouldn't mind writing an epilogue for Icky. If someone wants to wrap up the group segment, I can write it. If not, I can do both...

I'm cool with that. I don't know if anyone else has anything they want to add? Pro can finish up his Ozzy bit and have him there for the beginning on the first full on story.

Depends on the timeframe. I'm going out of town this weekend, so, I won't be able to write anything until probably next week. Even then, I've still got about three or four more posts I want to write before we get Ozzy going again.

So, I guess, don't count on me being ready for the first story. I'll just bring him in at some point.

Doc, are you or Grimm gonna wrap up, or should I just assume the responsibility? Or do Ceej, Link, or NotWedge wanna crack at it?

Just make reference to Paragon having them work out quite a bit more after the initial session, with him critiquing their lack of teamwork and occasional ineffectiveness. But not in a mean way.

Also, no more references to Gaunt as an "investigator." He is the Shadow Chancellor. Have at it.

Okay, did an epilogue for Gaunt, guest starring everyone's favorite alien detective. Just setting up some future idears.

Started the next story. Not much there. I wanted people to have a chance to flush out their characters more before actually getting into the story proper.

Flush out their characters? heheh.

Good start. Gonna leave the zero issue up for a bit to let anybody else who needs to add anything do so.

I like the title, "On the job" -- it's one of those nudge-nudge, wink-wink titles that have double-meanings (at least in British slang).

I thought my selective use of "nudge nudge wink wink" would clue you in... you need to brush up on your double-entendres, young man.

If you're "on the job" it means you're having sexual intercourse... so technically Vanguard Europe in the latest story sounds like a fun place to be!

Okay, is that everyone? Link? Ozzy?

Hopefully, with this latest post, what being the Shadow Chancellor entails will become a little more clear.
