The fact remains that when you include other characters in your promos for such huge plot points, you need to contact those posters, whether it turns out to be people impersonating them or not. This way, if any questions roll up, you won't have to worry about exposing your plans early to calm them down. They'll already be in on it and working with it. Cooperation is the key to angles like this suceeding. Don't leave someone out unless you want it all to backfire.

In other words, you wouldn't have had to possibly spoil your twist if you'd PMed Snarf and Louie about this beforehand.
