It'd involve tracking of IPs very carefully, making the mods' jobs too much of a bother to be enjoyable. Any complete fix would make this forum too much of a chore to run, I think.

Besides that, there's no way of knowing if the results without ballot-stuffing would be different, meaning a revote might change the outcomes completely.

The poll wasnt on there after the board changed,or it was but you couldnt see it if you had already voted!

When Snarf pushed Lothar off the ring apron, he called the match. I wrote somewhere in their that bell rings, and Monroe(?) yells that Lothar called the match as Snarf goes after Meeko.

I don't see why not. The ref can't throw out the champ for striking him. Add that to the hell that broke loose, and you get a no contest. That leads to a rematch at Rehash. I got this approved when I first planned it out, so that's the way it is. And Stone Cold had nothing to do with it.

True, but the poll results show that I won. Now, I'd have no problem with a no-contest if it were a tie between me and either/both Penwing and/or SoM, but the recap struck me as something of a cop-out. Now, not to say the recpa should show me squashing them either- I'd similarly have no problem with me winning in an underhanded, conniving, Christian-esque fashion.
Still, I'm still the champ, so I can't be too upset.

In case anybody's interested,I'm in the midst of working out a new angle with El Superbeasto;I don't want to give anything away,but I will mention that the opening of the angle involves a bit of a departure from my usual in-ring tactics. I've PMed The Doctor to get his take on the proposed angle,and I'm waiting to hear his reaction before Superbeasto and I go forward with it.

Well, Rob has informed us that he has taken the polls off of the front page. However, he has also informed us that he looked into the IP situation and he says probably 85-90% of the voting was legit.
So, while there may have been some stuffing going on, it probably didn't effect the outcomes much, if it all.
Thoughts? Conclusions?
