I don't actually hate 1st person shooters, it's just that most 1st person shooters give me motion sickness (X-Box magazine actually has a small feature on this in this months issue). Return to Castle Wolfstein and Medal of Honor are the worst offenders. Play those long enough and I feel totally sick!
With Halo somehow, I never have this problem. I think perhaps it may have something to do with it's steadier camera and better control.
