BREAKING NEWS: Angle to have neck surgery - miss 'Mania, out of action for one year
The Pro Wrestling Torch has just learned that Kurt Angle is now OUT of his Wrestlemania match, due to his neck injury, which is reportedly in terrible shape right, to the point where he can't even wrestle one match before his neck is fixed and healed. The injury isn't considered career threatening, but it will take a whole year to heal after surgery.
The injury isn't exactly from one moment or move, but just years of wear and tear on his neck in the wrestling ring. During the South Africa tour, Angle began suffering numbness in one of his arms (the same thing occurred with Benoit in 2001) and concerned him very much.
Angle is obviously disappointed with this current situation. He was very much looking foward to wrestling Brock at Wrestlemania. Angle is expected to give up the World Title on the upcoming television shows (note: Smackdown is in his hometown in Pittsburgh on March 11th), and Brock Lesnar's Wrestlemania status is very much unknown at this point.
