I saw a trailer for it where it has Natalie Portman in a swimming pool with bikini on, and the bottom was flesh colored so it looked like she was partially nude.

I just got back from seeing it at the second run theater.
Wow. One of the best movies I have ever seen. Also one of the few times I cried at a theater. This is a must buy DVD.

My wife and fifteen year old daughter loved this movie. I thought it was....ok.
I really enjoyed the performances and the use of music, especially Simon and Garfunkel's "The Only Living Boy in New York," but it was a little meandering for me, plotwise.
I will say this: Zack "Scrubs" Braff, the writer-director made an excellent first time showing and I think he has great potential.

I really found it enjoyable. I kept waiting for the big fuckup in the film but it never came. Also Natalie Portman is a hottie!

Well, You all sold me.
I've noticed of late that i really don't have many female friendly DVD's in my collection. Thus my wife shows little interest in my collection.
I bought 13 going on 30 and that's one DVD she takes everywhere with her. Garden State sounds like something she'd also enjoy.
