And, to be fair, one of my favorite friends there is blind and I take every opportunity available to make fun of that and we're still friends. That guy never fit there. He never got the spirit of the RKMBs. We're gonna keep an eye on the obits, see if he finally left or if he really did have a heart attack. 2,506,410.81 CAD Rack points

Pixar Takes Over Making Toy Story 3 Pixar Takes Over Making Toy Story 3 The now-Disney subsidiary takes control of the upcoming sequel. by IGN FilmForce February 7, 2006 - There a bit of major news in a Bloomberg report today on Disney's quarterly earnings. Disney CEO Robert Iger reportedly stated that Pixar will now begin producing about two films a year (up from their previous goal of one every year) and Pixar will take over production on Toy Story 3.
Regular IGN FilmForce readers will remember that Toy Story 3 was going to move ahead without Pixar under Michael Eisner's reign as Disney CEO. Now that Pixar has been acquired by Disney (with Pixar people filling key roles in the company), it makes sense that Pixar will be developing the Story sequel.
In August, word leaked out about the plot for the sequel, involving Buzz Lightyear being recalled to a factory in Taiwan, and the rest of the toys leaving to rescue him. It's unclear whether that same plot will be used in Pixar's version of the film or if a new storyline will be developed.

I'm hoping for a new plot. This one sounds just like the plot of the second film with Buzz taking on Woody's role as kidnappee.

Tim Allen and Tom Hanks return for TOY STORY 3 Tim Allen said in a recent interview that both he and Tom Hanks would be returning to add their voices in the upcoming Pixar film, TOY STORY 3. Allen will once again voice Buzz Lightyear, while Hanks will provide the voice for Woody.
"It's going to be great," said Allen. "We have John Lasseter, the original director, and I believe Tom is on board."
Allen also went on to say that he has had a look at the script and feels this script is stronger than the previous film.
Disney's Chief Executive Robert Iger revealed in May that Disney had started production on the third film. Once Disney acquired Pixar, Pixar took over production of TOY STORY 3.

'Toy Story 3' Aims for 2009 Pixar is moving forward on plans for "Toy Story 3," selecting a director, writer and a target release date.
According to Variety, Pixar bigwig John Lasseter and Disney Animation head honcho Ed Catmull told investors on Thursday (Feb. 8) that the long-discussed "Toy Story 3" is aiming to be in theaters for 2009.
That would mean that a decade will have passed between "Toy Story 2," which made more than $480 million worldwide, and its sequel. The time between the original, a $360 million worldwide grosser, and the third part would be 14 years.
Lasseter, who directed or co-directed both of the first two "Toy Story" films (as well as Pixar's 2006 hit "Cars"), is turning the directing reins over to Lee Unkrich, making his first solo-directing run after co-directing "Toy Story 2" and "Monsters, Inc."
Joining the franchise as "Toy Story 3" screenwriter is Michael Arndt, whose "Little Miss Sunshine" script is up for an Oscar.
The new "Toy Story 3" will have no connection to the "Toy Story 3" Disney was hoping to develop without Pixar's input back before the two companies formally joined forces in 2005.
