Okay, I've really thought about this. I think it's Harry Osbourn. Rachel said in this issue it's someone they both know, but he's changed. Rachel also said that she thought Aunt May might be dead, and she pictured a grave, but that could mean that the person that kidnapped her might have been someone that died. Also, they mentioned Liz Osbourn for no other purpose than to mention a high school reunion. Why her, and not Flash? Or why even mention it at all? Outside the book on Millars website, someone mentioned that they knew who it was, and it was going to piss a lot of fans off. That was never contested, so I guess the poster is probably someone with inside information. I know that Harry was already mentioned earlier in the series, but he was quickly discharged as being, "dead". Given recent clues, I don't think that's the case anymore. What does everyone else think?

I'm gonna need to re-read the issues. Interesting theory.

I don't think it's Harry. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part ebcause it would undo some of the most potent Spider-Man comics I've ever read.
First of all, Harry and Peter made peace with each other before Harry's death - a great scene.
Second, Harry hated Peter for supposedly killing his father. If Norman Osborn was alive, Harry would have no reason to hate Peter. He might go after Spider-Man to make Daddy proud, but I think he'd rather try and break Norman out, rather than go after Peter and Aunt May. It might take some of the panache out of Norman, having Harry still be alive.

Feh! Having NORMAN alive takes panache out of things. You want a great Spider-Man villain with the name "Goblin", you've got the Hobgoblin. For Christ's sake, let someone from the Spider-books stay dead!

Uncle Ben's dead. But his legacy of delicious rice lives on...

yeah, it seems like while trying to get off the fuck-up bandwagon that was the Spider-Clone saga, they decided to do one last major fuck up by resurrecting Norman. Making Peter the clone was bad enough, but then negating the third most major death in Spider-man continuity behind Uncle Ben and Gwen (possibly even a tie for second with Gwen) in order to rectify that mistake was like taking old shit away from a Shit Pile and then putting some fresh shit in its place.

I can at least understand bringing back Norman, though I didn't like it. Bringing back AUNT FRICKIN' MAY takes the cake....

I used to think it was Venom, but that's out the window. And Millar has said that Eddie Brock is gonna bite it in this story arc anyways. I'm now questioning what exactly Professor Warren AKA the Jackal has been up to lately.

Didn't he die during the clone saga? Not that it matters, of course. Everybody's coming back to life these days, no matter how emotional or moving their death scene was, or how brining them back will undermine those great stories. I've heard a rumor that they're bringing Colossus back to life also.
I swear by everything I hold sacred, if I ever get to start the comic book company I used to want to start (and still may, since I can't find a job in a field of study), DEAD WILL MEAN DEAD!

Well, while I agree for the most part, I do have a nifty idea for bringing Kraven back.

I think this is the wrong title to be talking about the Jackal.
SPOILER???
If we were talking about the current Amazing Spider-Man story, then I'd say that would be a good guess.
As for the MK Spider-Man, I'm not sure. I hope to hell it's not Harry. The whole business with Norman coming back still pisses me off. The fact that he has finally answered for his actions helps only a little. (But that's another matter entirely, though---and I do have some quibbles about how it was handled.)
Let Harry rest. He deserves it.
