Well, nearly all of our character have finally gather in the same spot. Next post is crucial.

Whoever has the gut to post next, the rest of the story depends upon it. And because I did the same crucial post in Vanguard three years ago, again I am waiting for someone other here.

Go on, guys!

Well, let it never be said that I lack guts. I'll look into writing it up asap.

OOPS! Sorry, Southpaw -- I was trying to delete an empty post and accidentally deleted yours as well. I've reposted it now, though. Sorry again.

'Kay. Well, I'm officially creatively exhausted at the moment. Trued writing up the next installment, but just can't. It's up to one of you guys.

It can't be me since I posted last.

It is slightly daunting because the next installment may well be the one that determines the dynamic between the characters. Suddenly you're having to think about what other individuals, besides the one that you created, would do in a given situation.

That said, it's only a writing exercise and you can't really mess it up. Somebody should just jump in and write something.

For the record I don't care what anyone does with Adrian Slawny, as long as you don't kill him. I have my own long term plans for the character, but I'll either adjust them or completely rethink them depending on where the story goes.

Southpaw, you can follow your own post freely, as many days have passed since you posted, if you have an idea as to have them interact.

Yeah, That's the problem I had. Because Dancer is a very controlling, agressive personality it's hard to know how he would react to the others. Also, he has a scheme for Cicciotto which needs to be conveyed.

Slawny's also difficult, largely because I don't yet understand his powers, but him and Dancer would probably be very confrontational, especially given Slawny's history with the Maquette, now deceased.

If you're willing to wait a couple of days, I will give it a shot later this week. I have an idea or two. But I'll leave it up to whoever posts first.

I'm willing to wait. It'll give me a chance to recharge the creative batteries.

Okay, I gave it a shot, but I didn't write as much as I'd planned. I hope I didn't overstep my boundaries. I'm afraid that if I had continued to write what I began I most certainly would have. I'm still not sure about the limits and capabilities of the characters.

BTW, I was going to give Adrian Slawney a bigger role in my chapter, but I'm not completely sure how his phasing ability works yet, so I chickened out. I was also unsure whether Vireximius ever changes back to his civilian form or whether he's permanently "super-powered"... Anyway, I didn't want him to seem too powerful against Cicciotto, so I may have written Vireximius a bit weaker than described and the werewolf a bit stronger than described. And I'm sorry about doing nothing with Marlo except knocking him out. I honestly couldn't think of any other way that Dancer could overcome him.

I had a lot of fun with Dancer as well, which may be obvious, but I'm not sure I captured his personality correctly. Same with Adrian Slawney.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next.

I would like to say this is deliberate but it’s probably more to do with the fact that I wrote my posts without any forward planning and I didn’t give much thought to the type of person Adrian is. Likewise with his powers, they’re whatever you want them to be. I have vague plans for their development but that’s all.

As far as I’m concerned whoever writes an instalment in this story has the previous posts and the character bios as a source of information. Apart from that, they have complete creative freedom to do whatever they want.

Dancer seemed okay-ish to me. Odd bum note, but nothing disastrous. The only thing to remember is that Dancer's got his own plan, he's not exactly doing what the yard tell him.

I've posted to the story. First intro of Dr. Jimmy, so it's kinda short.

I've been trying to keep everything right in my head with the story; but it's been a bit confusing. Somehow we went from the alleys back to the rooftop and a rifle appeared from somewhere. So I just decided to add to the confusion more and dropped three of the characters into the middle of a department store.

I might be able to make snes of the madness in my next post. I certainly intend to get Jimmy, Vireximius and Cicciotto teamed up, and try thrwing Slawny and Marlo into the mix

I've been attempting to bring our characters together, working on the theory that nothing unites people like a common enemy.

I've written another post now, which I hope won't upset SpandexMonkeyMan's ideas.

What I've added is more of a set-up piece anyway, just fleshing out the character of Rica and gving an insight into what the blonde woman might attempt do to our heroes should she get the opportunity.

Yeah, that was a good post, Southpaw. It actually helped my idea in that it allowed Jimmy to display his power. I've posted now, anyhoo, and the team (excepting Mudd) are now together.

Nice post, Eurostar. I've got one lined up to establish Dancer's scheme for Cicciotto and Callard, and I want to see him line up with Mudd. I've checked with Sammitch, and he's really busy with worky-type stuff, so I'll oook at bringing Mudd in myself.

Should I take down the story from being stickied? It's been well over a month and a half now.
