I don't like the mentality of the town I live in. It's geared more towards being a retirement community than anything else. If it weren't for the two colleges in town, we'd have nothing to do. There isn't a decent comic shop around; but we've got a few book stores. I can get a pitcher of beer for $5 or all I can drink draft for $8. I'm an hour away from the casinos on the coast (where I happen to have family) and a little over an hour away from the music and debauchery of New Orleans. It's quiet and small (which I like) but also a bit boring at times. Sometimes I think I might be a little happier living closer to a metropolis like Atlanta or New Orleans (I'd never permenately live in New Orleans).
