With the exception of three years I lived in Westerville, Ohio (and the less said about that, the better), and the year I spent in college in Fairfield, CT, I've lived in Massachusetts (in or around Boston) all my life. And I love it. We're a four-sport city. We have museums, great colleges, some of the best hospitals, and a ton of historical landmarks. We're close enough to New York if you want to spend a weekend there, to Springfield, Worcester (pronounced "Woo-stah"), Providence, and Manchester if you wanna catch minor league sports. Winter sports is always a drive away, due to our proximity to New Hampshire and Vermont. Boston is large enough that there is always something to do, but small enough not to overwhelm. I think Chicago comes close to that feeling, which is why I enjoyed my time there and plan to come back. But I love my city.
