My point would be that Flair's on this list because of his first run with the company, regardless of his current run.

Alright, I'll expand--he won the WWF Title by going in the Rumble for an hour, the most famous and celebrated Rumble ever, beating out every top name in the company at the time. He also had a one of the greatest money feuds of all time with Randy Savage, and was the key to Bret Hart’s rise to WWF Champion. Even before wrestling a match for the WWF, he brought the NWA World Title to WWF events, giving his entering the company more immediate impact than probably anybody else’s in history. The fact that he did all of this in such a short time is remarkable, and I think would get Flair on this list even if he wasn’t currently with the company.

Also, let's not forget that when Flair won the title, changes were a lot less frequent and thus meant a lot more. The only pre-Flair champions not on the list are Ivan Koloff, Stan Stasiak and Antonio Inoki, all three of whom had short reigns even by today's standards. So Flair’s two world title wins mean a helluva lot more than the wins of guys like Sid and Big Show(the only multi-time champions not on the list).

There. Does that make my point clear? [/QB]

in flairs case, they mention he's been a 16 time world champ, so i know they are counting every single title reign he's ever had as world champ.

You can't be serious. This guy would never of even had a career if it was for Hogan. Hogan would always push whoever he was working for to hire Brutus. HH even left many promotions when they wouldn't use him. Brutus's biggest contribution to wrestling was powdering Hogan's balls before each match.

I think they're really pushing Flair's history because Evolution is basically a 4 Horsemen rip-off. Flair is definitely a valuable piece in making that concept work. The more they push him, the better the rest of the group looks by association.

You're kidding right? Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine were one of the greatest tag teams ever. Don't you remember when Jimmy Hart ditched the Hart Foundation to manage Beefcake and Valentine? That was one of the best tag team feuds ever! And don't you remember when Brutus Beefcake turned good and shaved Dino Bravo's head to become "The Barber"? That was one of the first "humiliation" matches I ever saw. Don't you remember his feuds with Valentine, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Mr.Perfect, and Ravishing Rick Rude?

BTW, was wrestling good back then or what? [cool]

And if thats their reasoning,why no Dudleys,Hardys & E&C?

Actually, back in the WWF at that time, Razor Ramon was a "good" guy/face and HBK & Diesel were the "bad" guys. Kevin Nash was Michaels' bodyguard.

From the looks of it, tag teamers aren't being included on this list, so that would explain a lot of the omissions.

And for the record, I do believe the greatest contribution made by Brutus Beefcake was being referenced in a Ludacris song along with the Butcher and Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

Nash has always had problems with Vince (or I should say Vince with Nash) since he first left WWF to go WCW!! Also Nash has been hurt more often than not and has a rep backstage as being a rabble-rouser!! Vince is tired of paying the big bucks with little return!!

So why did he re-sign him if he hates him that much?
He has more problems with Hogan & Bret Hart, yet both make the list!

He resigned him for the oldest reason in the world - MONEY!! Nash is still a top draw regardless of his many injuries!! He cuts a killer promo and does garner a certain amount of respect from the guys he works with. Besides he is tight with HHH & HBK - two of Vince's golden boys!

Hogan and Bret should be on the list and IMO in the number 1 and 2 spots respectively!!

Hogan carried wrestling singlehandedly into a whole new realm and Bret carried WWF on his back with skill, solid work ethic and showmanship when Hogan left!! Everyone thought WWE was finished when Hogan left, but the Hitman stepped up and hit a home run!!

But my point is,Vince hates both Hogan & Hart more than Nash, but they make the list where as Nash didnt.
So to say Nash didnt make the list cause Vince hates him, doesnt quite cut the mustard!

I dont think Nash should be on there,I just think its funny & a bit weird that Hall makes it (another one Vince hates) & Nash doesnt.
Since the whole Outsiders gimmick started, you cannot mention the name of Hall or Nash without mentioning the other!

They ARE on the list. . .

Back to Nash for a moment. I'm wondering if this is a message. A hint about his upcoming contract expiration. . .

Scott Hall had a helluva run in the WWF as Razor Ramone, while Nash really didnt have much of a run besides being a body guard before he won the belt, and then left....

Yeah, Eddie should be on the list. His mullet haircut alone inspired the music of a generation.

Scott Hall has been around WAAAYY longer than Nash!! Scott had came in as a young man under people like Curt Hennig!! Nash started as Oz in WCW in late eighties/early nineties!!

While Nash was the frontman in NWO, Hall was the senior wrestler and star!!

Is five years way longer?
Hall started in AWA back in 85 where as Nash started in WCW in 90!
Hall didnt actually move up to the big leagues til after Nash!

Apart from a brief run under his own name, that was totally unsuccessful,Hall didnt get his real big league break til 91,when he joined WCW as a bodyguard for DDP.

Hall moved to WWf in 92,and Nash moved there a year later,so once again,it still doesnt give him much seniority!

Scott hall never held the WCW world title or the WWF heavyweight title, but Nash held them both.
Once again, this would not indicate Hall was the senior!
