I've enjoyed Bendis and Maleev's run on DD. It's the only book I've read by Bendis that his dialogue works and he gets the characters right. I was never a big DD fan before, but Bendis's take made me interested. Maleev's art was a perfect fit. Gritty. I've enjoyed every issue I've read from them.
If Brubaker is taking over, then it shouldn't be too much of a shift to knock off readers. I think it's a nice slow transition. I'll see what he can do with it.
