Apparently you missed my sig on the old boards, I had that on there after I'd seen the pilot episode.

Get used to that, the entire series is like that, a whole lot going on, you sometimes have to watch it more than once because you can easily miss things the first time around.

Now that I like the show, I plan to take my time watching the earlier episodes on DVD while recording season 4, cause I don't want to rush through 1-3.

I've so far seen the first two episodes and both commentaries. I laughed when they said "I bought wine from that place, it was good wine." Way to fill space!

And if it was back in Armageddon 2001 when you used that sig, I definitely missed it. Heck, on a smart day I can barely remember where I heard my own sigs.....

You're gonna be facing Latino Heat!! They say there's No Way Out. I can think of at least one, ese (sp?). Can you?"

Yeah, definitly take your time watching the previous episodes, the last thing you want to do is rush only to miss something. I haven't seen the commentaries but I did check out the bloopers, those were a riot. I need to shop around for season 3 now while I have the money for it.

I used to use it back on the old DC boards. I started using it in 2001, after I'd finally seen that ep.

the commercials are saying that someone will die. TVguide.com says who it is. If you really want to know go to tvguide.com and look at the alias listing for next week.

Oh, I know, someone on the live journal Alias community got this week's tv guide and said they printed what the documents said. I didn't read what he wrote, nor am I going to read tv guide or their site, I'm going to wait until Wed night to read that thread.

I did, however, read the comments and there were a couple people that posted a bit of what was said, when saying their thoughts. So I'm going to ignore the fact that I know and then go back to that thread after the premier.

However, if anyone tries to call me while it's on, they can forget about it. I'll be sitting in front of the tv with a huge bowl of popcorn, trying not to choke. My mom will be joining me, since she's just as addicted as I am.

All I will say about it is that I am surprised who it is. That is all I will say.
Both my mom and dad are addicted. I have managed to get most of my family obsessed with it.

In other news, I've still got a LOT of catching up to do.. The DVD is a rental due back tomorrow at noon, so I was unable to finish Season One Part One..

It's their fault for making me want to watch each episode more than once so badly.

Well, like I said, I know who it is and I don't see how that could be. But again, I haven't read the article so i don't know what those documents say, which is crucial, I guess, in this case. Because for it to be who it is, can't be unless it happened aftwards or something. And aren't those documents supposed to be a number of years old? If so, then how could that be?

No, this is one case where knowing that spoiler makes no sense, we're going to have to wait and see how it plays out to get it.

I haven't been able to get my sister into Alias, she generally would love it, but she's not a fan of Jen's so I don't think I can get her to sit through an ep, even if we were to get rid of her kids of a while. After my mom and I got into it, and we finally saw the pilot ep, I tried to get her to watch it, which I think she was liking, but one of her kids walked in the room and I had to turn it off. They're way too young to watch Alias, Star Wars is fine, Alias, no way, it's way too violent for them.

www.abc.com has a video preview of season 4. Its pretty cool. It has the actors describing their roles in the next season and they almost admit that last season wasn't that good.

Try the entire ep. WOO!

Although, I have my niggles about J.J. doing that. The entire episode was season 1 all over again, the entire season, but I just hope the season 1 remake, ends tonight and we wont have what almost seemed like rewrites of some scenes to fit this episode. I loved that as a twist, it was very interesting, I just hope J.J. doesn't over kill it.

I absoluletly loved it.

When Vaughn said "because last year sucked" I almost fell out of my chair. Two things that bothered me about the episode was that they changed the opening, and they had one of those horrible cliffhangers at the beginning where it doesn't really happen until later. Those suck. I'm glad they killed off Irina. They should have done that when she refused to come back to the show. It looks like Nadia is going to the new "Sydney" as in she is the outsider who is not in the loop. I hope that doesn't mean she will really replace Sydney. After the opening my crush on her went to a full on obsession.
When Sydney told Dixon that the best part of the new team was that she would be partners with him again I teared up. I always loved the dynamic between the two of them. Marshall was also great and very funny. Sloan was pleasantly creepy (if thats even possible).
My favorite part has to be when the guy fell out of the train and hit the bridge. The clanging sound was priceless.

The most exciting part is that we get a new episode every week.

My skin cralwed when Sloan put his hand on Syd's shoulder that one time. My mom even said something about that too.

Ok as for Irina, yeah I knew about it, and it makes sense now that I've seen the episode. I don't know if I'd say they should have killed her off before when Lena refused to come back, because it was interesting the way last season played out, with Jack in constant contact with Irina and how they seemed like a couple at times.

Loved that clanging when the guy fell out of the train as well, cracked me up.

My dad is recording this season on DVD. I'm going to watch the train part over and over.
The Jack staying in contact with Irina was one of the reasons I disliked last season. I knew she wasn't coming back. When they tried to replace her with her butch sister was when I really started disliking last season. If the rest of the season is as good as last nights episode, it will make up for last season 3.

Well just remember, J.J. wasn't as invovled with last season as he was all the others. I read that he's taking the show back now and that it's going to be what it once was.

I didn't care much for Katya, but the one where Jack walked up to her and said "Just so you know, I can get through this alone" and kissed her was great.

Another odd thing is that Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan aren't dating anymore. That sex scene must have been very uncomfortable.

I thought of something a little while ago.

Weiss knew Syd's cover story for SD-6, now she fed him the same one. You just know he'll figure out she's still in espionage when she comes home with a bullet wound or something. You can only lie to another agent for so long before they put 2 and 2 together.

So now the question is, how long before Weiss figures it out? The way those 2 talk and hang out, them being neighbors and all, it's just a matter of time.

Greg Grumberg might is in another J.J. Abrams show. It was supposed to be a spin off of Alias but I think it might not now. If the show ends up being successful, he will not be on Alias anymore. I think they are going to film the pilot episode soon. They will probably leave his character alone until then.

I have three questions from last nights episode...

Spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it yet...

1) The most obvious quesiton: What is Sloan really up too?

2) The second most obvious question: What was the device he found, and what did it do and all that?

3) Why did Irina want Sydney dead?

Then there are some other things, like will Sydney have to kill Nadia to protect her father? Wasn't there a prophesy that said one of them would kill the other?

I love this show!

I don't think were supposed to know. I think were being led to believe he feels like Jack and Sydney are his "family" and he wants to help them out in any way possible.

Quote:

2) The second most obvious question: What was the device he found, and what did it do and all that?

They never really answered that question. Abrams said in an interview that they are moving away from the whole Rimbaldi storyline.

[qoute]3) Why did Irina want Sydney dead?

I'm guessing that will be a mojor plot throughout this season.

[qoute]Then there are some other things, like will Sydney have to kill Nadia to protect her father? Wasn't there a prophesy that said one of them would kill the other?

I doubt it. Unless my fear of Sydney leaving the show comes true.
