When he first started talking I thought he was bitten also. That speech made him seem less believable to me. If he hates Sloan so much, why did he want to work with him again?

I was reading a spoiler site and found out some good news. Don't read and further if you don't want the next two episodes spoiled.
In two weeks both Sark and Anna Espinosa will return. Both will have something to do with the Rimbaldi device. I think this is great. Sark has been sorely missed lately. I also think bringing back the Rimbaldi divice will make sloan into an interesting character again.
End spoilers.

WOAH I never thought I'd see Anna again.
Sark's been in prison the whole time though, so it was just a matter of needing to go talk to him, although that begs the question, how is he going to be back? The gang's black ops, so they can't exactly walk into whatever prison he's being held in and chat, unless they bring him to them.
I also knew it was a matter of time before Rambaldi came back as well. We all know J.J. does this, things are going to be different thing, and changes stuff up for the first few episodes of the season, which are used to set the pace/setting of that season, but then the old story lines come back and things are back to normal.

The whole Anna thing is completely out of the blue, but I love it. I think they could do so much with her character. Supposedly Sarks only going to be in about four episodes. Its a shame because there aren't a lot of bad guys in the series anymore, other than Sloan which I'm kind of bored with now.

How can you be bored with Sloane now? Last week he got to shine as truely evil. He's not to be trusted, I've been saying that all the time.
It is a shame that Sark's not going to be in much this season, I hope that changes though, he is great.
Yeah the whole thing with Anna is out of the blue, but the same thing happened first season when she disappeared. One minute she was Syd's rival and match, the next Sark's in the picture and Anna's no where to be seen or mentioned. That's why I plan on using her in my MFU/Alias crossover fic. I haven't written that part yet, but I have a lot of holes I need to go back and fill in since I've skipped parts to write down scenes I came up with but didn't want to lose.

I hope they make Anna and Sydney rivals again. It seems now that Sydney has no enemies for more than one episode, which has been one of my main complaints about this season. Its also the reason I don't like Sloan right now. He's a better character when he's a bad guy. I'm hoping when the Rimbaldi device returns this will all change.

Detente While Sydney and Nadia argue about Nadia's acceptance of Sloane's fatherly concerns, Sloane worries about Nadia's well-being when she and Sydney go undercover as wealthy, irresponsible young heiresses to uncover the whereabouts of a deadly chemical.

I was wondering what tonight's was supposed to be. The preview they showed last week didn't make sense what so ever, it looked like they took pieces of scenese from previous episodes and pieced them together.
Just thought of something I don't think I actually mentioned here before, but did anyone else wonder if Nadia was trained with Project Christmas when Jack said her tests were off the board, the only other person he's ever seen test that high was Sydney? This was a couple episodes back.

Never really watched it besides the first half of the 1st season, which i thought was mediocre
Im watching the series where she realises she's been missing for 2 years and finds out all the illegal crap she's been up to since them. Which season is this?

That would be the last, season 3. We're on season 4 now.
How can you say the first half of 1 was mediocre? That was some of the best stuff. Actually I didn't tune in until the super bowl episode that seaon, after I was hooked I scoured the web looking for everything I could and finally saw those episodes. Great stuff.

That was a great episode. The beginning when they tricked their way into the hotel room was hilarious. The talk betweeen Dixon and Sydney was great. They need to make more episodes like this one.

The beginning was just Sid doing the CIA thing while spying on Sloane. He was too small time to be a big bad guy, and that annoying reporter friend was really.......... annoying!
I checked out a few episodes about her mother and that rocky relationship, but it didnt do it for me. I am liking Season 3 a lot though, shame it'll be another year or so before the UK even contemplates getting season 4

I think season 3 was the best. It started out strong, and it delivered.

Tonights episode: Echoes
With Nadia’s life on the line, Sydney must race to bring down former nemesis Anna Espinosa (Gina Torres, “24”). Meanwhile, Vaughn’s inner demons surface when, in order to help Sydney save Nadia, he’s forced to confront his own former nemesis, the slippery and deadly Mr. Sark (David Anders).
Sark, Anna Espinosa, and the return of the rimbaldi device. I'm so fucking excited about this one. Its also supposed to be a two-parter, so we get a cliffhanger ending.

Was it me, or was that a differnt actress playing Anna? Granted I haven't watched a season 1 ep in ages, but for some reason she looked different tonight.
LOVED it! This one should prove to all of you that have been doubting this season that it was just a matter of time before J.J. brought things back to the way they were.

You are correct. This is the episode I've been waiting for. I knew once Alias had been on for a while they would go back to the old storylines.

It proves nothing. Yet. Hopefully the first eps of the season were just to reintroduce everyone. Now this show has to take off the way it used to. I will be very happy if it does, but I am not holding out hope. I feel like I've wasted my time with every episode until now. At least we may finally have a villain and a mission for the season.

Did you guys see the great Alias action figures/Mcfalanesque statues shown at the toyfair? I dunno if you guys by figures but the Syd in the school girl outfit (with street diorama) would make a happy ass shelf warmer. They beat the living shit outa the first series (what was that anyway?). And we get Jack!

No, it was the same actress. Gina Torres played Anna in season 1 and in this season. I think she comes across as different here because she has more lines this time. We hear more from her.

It's true though. I thought about that tonight as I was flipping channels during commercials, of something else. I stopped watching the award shows years ago when I realized they were nothing more than a popularity contest.

So Lost is in repeats for the next month and I have to say I'm somewhat happy about it. There are so many things going on in Lost and Alias its hard to keep track of everything, expecially when Alias starts immediately after Lost. There isn't any time to let everything sink in.

Tonights episode: "The Index"
Sydney's theory that Sloane is trying to re-form the Alliance threatens her relationship with Nadia, who refuses to believe her father is double-crossing the CIA. Meanwhile, Vaughn learns the first of possibly many startling secrets about his father. Angela Bassett guest stars as CIA Director Hayden Chase.

They also forgot to mention that Michael DesBares had a small part near the end of the episode!
His voice is just so damn recognizable . . . gotta love the man for his work as Murdoch on MacGyver . . . he made him so deranged! hehe

When Jack got out of the car and Syd came up to him, I was expecting her to give him a hug, but then again, that wouldn't have been very professional of them. At the same time though, you could tell she was dying to do that.

There were so many good moments in this episode. Dixon and Sydney talking privately, Sloane finding out Nadia is dating Weiss, Dixon flirting with that one chick. Definitely one I have to watch again.
