One of the things thats bothering me about this season is that I never know when Jack is lying or telling the truth. He's lied so many times about so many things, I can't take his seriously now.
I also find Sloan somewhat boring now also. He hasn't had any real good scenes yet.
Those two characters are too important to the show to be cast to the side and ignored.

Like I said above, this show relies on a strong, ongoing, fast paced plot to develop it's characters. This was another good episode of the modernized Mission Impossible. So far, this was the best episode this season. But, there is nothing here. They have walked away from the formula that kept me interested and forced me to watch every week. When Vaughn was caught, that should have been the end of the show. But there is more. Nothing we have seen so far is linked. Every episode had a nice, neat finish, and there is no bad guy to go after. There is no hunt. Alias has always been a hunt. Right now, nothing is on the line. There is no race for Rambaldi. There is no one out to kill Sydney. There is no spy. There is nothing here that makes this show Alias. Why are they part of APO agian? Why is Sloan in charge? There are no hints of answers because they aren't chasing after something. Just little things here and there. In the previous seasons, when episodes seemed unrelated, they kept us coming back because we needed to see how Syd would get each mission accomplished. And by now, we already had someone or something for her to go after for a few weeks. You know, for the plot to build on itself. Right now, there is no plot.

As for the baby in the picture, I think it's Lauren.
