I just realized the Star Wars commercial was during Lost.

Jack is one of those characters that they could never kill off. He's too important to the show, especially since they are going to bring back Irina.

Ah, good to know I didn't miss it (during Alias that is).

Right, just like Syd can never leave as well.

Fuck.

I have a feeling they just might kill off Jack. If Vaughn's father is alive, he would replace Jack.

I say "might" because they might just be setting up an out if they have a problem with his contract.

I'm thinking this season is looking better than last! It started off real slow, and I'm still pissed at them for wasting my time, but now it's back to weekly shit-kickers, and I'm happy again!

I just read at spoilerfix.com that Kendall (Terry O'Quinn) is set to appear in an upcoming episode. Hopefully it will be more than one.

I also think he's better on Lost.

Kednal was a jerk pre season 3, it almost seemed as tho they ruined him last season by changing him like they did. I've kept him try to his old jerk self in my fic, but then again, my fic picks up right where season 2 leaves off.

I can't help but smile at thinking about how my character puts him in his place. hehehe

Tonights episode:
Another Mister Sloane
Sydney must ally herself with Sloane in order to catch the man (Joel Grey, Broadway's "Wicked," "Cabaret") who has been impersonating him. But when they discover what the imposter is after, Nadia begins to worry that her father will be tempted to rediscover a past obsession.

This looks like it will be a good one.

Another great episode. My only problem was that Jack's radiation sickness was completely ignored.

That may be, but it looks like that's going to be the focus of next week's ep. I can't wait for that!

I missed some dialog at the begining though and want to know what Jack said. It was when he confronted Sloane with the info Syd and Vaughn just gave him. He was saying something about having to kill Irina and I missed a good chunk of that.

don't get me started.

Sloan said that he was being framed and then Jack backed off. I think they edited some of the episode. Some of the dialogue didn't seem right.

What I missed was before that. Basically the begining of that scene. Jack said something about "do you know what it's like...." and just about the next part I caught was him saying "my wife". And then he threatened to kill Sloane. That was a great scene, loved that hurt look on Jack's face when he let his love for Irina show. I've been saying it since season 1 and I'll say it to the end, that man is still in love with her!

that and...

THEY BETTER NOT KILL JACK OFF!!!!

that is all

for now at least.

I'm curious to see how they pull that off since Jack was the one that killed her himself. This is going to be interesting, to say the least.

Me to. Last year I recorded every episode and watched it two or three times. This season I'm not. I think it will be better when I get the DVDs. I won't be sick of certain episodes that way.

heh My problem is right now I basically don't have a working VCR, and my dad's back home (he was in CA for months), so of course he comes in and talks to my mom while we're BOTH watching Alias. He's been doing this since we started watching in season 1. No matter how many times we tell him to go away and not talk, he does it. I started taping it as a result and that helped. But now the VCR that I was taping it off of, refuses to record, so I switched it with the one in the basement and that records audio like crap, so I am left with the one in my parents' room, which I'd rather not go there.

SO I have to look into that Sanyo I saw at Walmart for 50 bucks, because this is getting rediculous and there's no way I'm going to watch the season finale without taping it, because I know I'm going to miss something and will need to watch it again.

Episode 4.18: Mirage
Sydney is shocked when she discovers that Jack is terminally ill -- and that he chose not to tell her. Meanwhile, Nadia's orphanage caregiver, Sophia, continues her convalescence at Sydney's apartment. Michael McKean guest stars as Jack's doctor.

That was great! Very sweet and touching. After seeing the previews for this one last week, I was so worried about Spy Daddy that I went in search of spoilers for next week. I had to know if he was going to make it or not.

I'm pleased with the way they did it. Sure I'd love to see this play out under better circumstances, but for Jack to finally open up to Sydney about his feelings for her, it was great.

That was probably the most emotional Alias yet. Jack hallucinating his old doctor was great. I was worried about Michael McKean playing his doctor, but he was great. The scene between Sydney and Jack was perfect. This was one of the best from this season.

Tonights episode:
In Dreams...

This episode marks Jennifer Garner's directorial debut -- The mysterious man (Joel Grey, Broadway's "Wicked," "Cabaret") who has been impersonating Sloane resurfaces, and this time he's hot on the trail of Rambaldi. Meanwhile, shocking revelations about the real Sloane are brought to light, causing everyone to further question his true intentions. Amy Irving ("Traffic," "Yentl") guest stars as Emily Sloane.

Amy Irving as Emily Sloane? Is this going to be a in a flashback? Or is she coming back somehow?

Anyhow. The last couple of episodes have been really good, I hope this one measures up.

Well, it was on and now we know more.

Yes, Amy was on in flashback. We also have an answer to who Jaqline(sp) was. I'm kind of surprised they wrapped that up so fast.

We also got McCullah, and Arvin Clone. Best of all though, the begining picked up nicly after last week's ended. We were treated to a nice little scene of Jack and Sydney as he was being discharged from medical. Sydney helped him and and he actually opened up to her about his feelings when she was little. Also loved how he thanked her for helping him.

It also sort of explained how Sloane became obsessed with Rembaldi.

In an interview with "Access Hollywood's" Shaun Robinson, "Alias" creator J.J. Abrams says that Jennifer Garner's pregnancy "will affect" how the show's fifth season will be shot. "It will affect (shooting)," said Abrams. "But I think we have overcome a lot of other issues and things. I think the show will be a little bit different because of it, but Jennifer is so excited about everything right now..."In regards to Garner's physically demanding scenes, the producer says she will probably have to take it easy this season. "I'm sure kickboxing is probably out."
