I don't think the show will last more than one more season. Networks are stupid, and they always think there is something better out there to run in the place of a show with a loyal fan base. ABC is no different. I will be very surprised if Alias sees a 6th season. As long as we get a full season next year, without timeslot shifting, I'll be very happy.
Actually some shows have been renewed simply because they had a loyal fanbase and the network figures its easier to work on something that some people are guranteed to watch then to bet on a new series that doesn't look promising.
Bow ties are coool.
