Dooku bites it in the first twenty minutes, or so I've heard.
But what really tickles my nuts are the starships in the background. I go apeshit for spaceships. Were those Victory-class Star Destroyers?
Actually, I'll bet that's the scene where Palpatine has been "kidnapped" by Dooku and the Separatist forces, and Anakin rushes in to save him.
Yes, almost a mirror image of ROTJ, but this time, instead of sitting on a throne, Palp's "bound" to a chair.

Actually it seems fitting. Palpatine's been after Anakin and finally gets him. He then set his sites on Luke, who refused to go to the Darkside.
But I don't see this as a cheap copy of Jedi, I see it as the begining, and that scene in Jedi as the entire thing coming full circle, complete with Anakin's redemption.

Exactly, I think they're making a very clear parallel to the first movies. Like the ending of Phantom Menace was a lot like Star Wars and the end of Clones was a lot like Empire.
Maybe the point is that Luke followed a path similar to his father only he controlled his darker feelings and when it came down to it was able to resist Palpatine.

Anakin was off fighting in the clone wars when Amidala gave birth. The clone wars end at the beginning of this movie. That gives Leia plenty of time to "know" her mother.

I don't remeber it being stated that she gave birth during the clone wars. I remember Anakin fought in the clone wars and ulitmatly sucummed to the dark side.

The site I got those from had that picture labeled "the end". Which means she is definitley dead or dying, unless the pirture was purposely mislabeled.
