I hate to admit it. I am watching a show on ABC, of all channels. And I can thank my Mom for doing it. She told me the premise of LOST and I thought I'd check it out. It's like TV crack. What I like about it off the bat is:

1) NOT a reality show
2) NOT a CSI/Law/Police show
3) A drama with an X-Flies premise

the short and the long...a plane from Australia, destined for the States, crashes on an island. 48 survivors. 14 of whom we follow. In back flashes we learn what they, the 14 were doing just before things went bad on the plane and little insight on the characters. Meanwhile, food is running out, people are still injured, others are looking for ways to get help and ontop of it all, it seems they are not alone on the island with an animal (led to think about the size of a dinosaur). Hell, they already encountered a Polar Bear on this island. Just enough of the odd/weird to give it an X-File feel.

So yeah, I'm hooked. Wednesday nights on ABC at 8pm. This past week was catch up (first couple episodes) next week will be the next few episodes.

Anyone else watch this show and have ideas about the plots and subplots?

We already have a thread about this somewhere, but yes a lot of us are enjoying it. Its one of the few shows I have to watch every week.

I tried looking for the thread...sorry bout that.

Is it just me, or does the guy playing Locke really need to play Starr in the "Preacher" movie?

I don't care enough to follow it's schedule. Plus, I'm guessing that the character's are just a bunch of scantily clad supermodels.

Its a really good show. It is not a bunch of scantily clad supermodels. Its probably one of the most complex shows I've seen on TV.
