This is one of those things that's never going to please a lot of fans. There is just no real way to translate Ben Grimm onto the big screen in live action without something looking off and allowing the actor to still move as naturally as possible. It reminds me of the Hulk. Everyone bitched that the texture of the skin looked off and that he didn't look real. Well, a ten foot tall monster with green skin that's impervious to bullets isn't going to look the same as a buncha pale computer geeks.
