Want to have a black Green Lantern in JLA? Fine by me. Just make sure he's an Abba-loving architect who doesn't whine about "issues" (that's women's work anyway).
See, I'm not racist. I just want my black characters to talk, think, and act, like white characters.
Again, I'm not racist. I just think that when Wally West and Clark Kent spend all that time telling wonderous stories about growing up in middle-America, I don't need to hear about "black families" (as if there were such a thing).
I'm not racist, really. I just believe that if black characters don't act, think, and speak like their white counterparts, then causes tension in the stories. And that's bad for America.
