Although many in the gay community find this show to be determental to gays,I still think its a great show. Sure its unbelievable but what isnt on tv these days? My fav character is Ted,he is kind of a shy bottom. I prefer that type in real life.

I read the good reviews Queer As Folk got and tried to watch an episode but it was just TOO gay for me... I had a wrong idea of the show, I thought it was like Will & Grace (D'oh!) but it's more like The Sopranos... only gay.

i dont get showtime, so i cant watch it (phew!), so the only thing i know about the show is that hal sparks is in it. ... and i couldnt frickin stand him on talk soup.

why is determental to gays? bad portrayal, or something?

We don't get Showtime anymore, but what little bits I've seen and heard of the show it comes off as very well done and extremely erotic for most gay people.
