see if'n y'cant shrink those file sizes down.
i try to get all avatars at or below 1k (no more -- not even 1.2's). it helps those with slower connections.
that typically means to shrink the physical size to about 0.7 in by 0.7 inch (around 50-60 pixels).
then, i could just take what you do and upload'em!

what program do you use?
i use photoshop. easiest way to reduce a file like the nets image in size is to change it to a gif image, then restrict the amount of colors to, like, 16 or 32.

ahh... the other glitch i noticed was the resolution. web graphics should always be done in 72 dpi (standard). here's yers at just under 2k:  here's mine at just under 1k:  a lil smaller, and not as clean, but it gets the job done (and is now available to be used, machine! (tho i digs the hogan!)

download a program called WINMX, and then get yerself some photoshop, baby!

i hope you have a fast net connection, cuz photoshop is roughly 500 mb
anywho...
after connecting, go to the SEARCH area. click on the button that says MP3 AUDIO ANY RATE and scroll to ANY FILE
then search for photoshop
7 is the new version, but you dont need it. get anything 5 or above.
double click on one thats green in color, under the "status" column, and about 500, 000, 000 under the bytes column.
