You can get an injunction, but no damages. So yeah its hardly worth it.
Last year Michael Schumacher (five time formula 1 world champion),or at least his management, threatened a 14 year old fan with an injunction unless he shut down his fan site!
The kid was making no profit,but Schumachers manager thought it took traffic away from the official website which does make money!
Schumacher is obviously desperate for the money as he only makes around $25,000,000 a year for driving for Ferrari.
