Nice pics, Uschi. I've got quite a few downloaded and even had some printed out and stuck around my cubicle at my last job, as well as on my work computer screen saver.

City Lights, in particular, is in contention for being my all-time favorite movie, but I've got most of his films (including cheap, crappy versions of most of the early Keystone stuff) on DVD or VHS somewhere. And since falling in love with the movie on his life, back when it came out, I've also picked up and read probably about a half-dozen books on the man.

I am a dyed-in-the-wool, full-on Chaplin mark, which has carried over to a love of the silent film format in general. Keaton, Griffith, Fairbanks, Pickford, Gish, Chaney, etc., etc.

But, Charlie's just The Man. You've got to marvel at a guy who was once (and may possibly still be) the most recognizable man on the planet.
