Doc Damien. Damien was the last guy before balloon knot who was dumb enough to truly believe the shit he was shovelling. He left after his last post in that thread, I believe.

I mean, there's been racial stuff said on these boards since then, but it's all in good fun and one thing I'll never be is thin skinned. Besides, a lot of the banter on these boards is funny.

But balloon knot isn't funny. It isn't because he's a racist. He just isn't funny. He hasn't made me laugh once, and most posters just skip over his posts in conversation. Why? Cuz it's the same old shit over and over again. Take one racial epithet (darkie), add a racist comment (can't read), put in some filler that reads like it was written by a retarded second grader, hit send.

It's old. And I had such high hopes for balloon knot.

This probably has to do with me editing Balloonknot's post in the Random Chat forum. I'm a decently laid-back guy. I was a Nature Boy (back in the day) for gob's sake. But, when someone starts throwing racial slurs around, it ceases to be amusing, and becomes simply offensive.

So, someone has created an Alt-ID to try and make some flames. Silly, really.

Balloonknot, I have nothing against you. But, as long as I have a say in the Random Chat forum (who knows how long that will last), I simply don't want racial slurs thrown around like candy. There's no point. You're a pretty intelligent guy. Is it so bad that I ask this one thing from you? I mean, I pretty much let you have free reign, otherwise. Just curious...
