You make a valid point BSAMS. I'm not denying that. Your crazy shit has always had a true intelligence behind it, and I take what you say into serious consideration. My thing is, of all the things that can be said, racial slurs just truly, truly irritate me. I see no point in them, and would think most people in the 21st century are beyond that.
But, perhaps you are right. Maybe I should just ignore it, and assume that people read that kind of stuff the same way I do. Doesn't mean I like it, though. I don't. At all. I think it's the epitome of true ignorance...

Does the word "nigger" still hold as much of its shock value?
Since the black community adopted the word "nigga" as a term they use themselves,I've felt that the slur lost a lot of its impact & power.
Ok,a racial slur is still a racial slur,but as bsams said,does a word really hurt that much?
