Who would you like to meet that is an actor, politician, scientist, sports star, etc? They could be living or dead.

From Washington Times interview with DeLay:
Mr. Hurt: Have you ever crossed the line of ethical behavior in terms of dealing with lobbyists, your use of government authority or with fundraising?
Mr. DeLay: Ever is a very strong word.

Will you be carrying a large wooden paddle with you?

I'd want to meet them because, as far as we know, they are the most powerful people on Earth. I'd want to meet someone with some real influence, not a celebrity. I aim high.
And no paddle, just lots of questions.

I would have liked to have met Ronald Reagan, since he's my hero.
I met the real Liddy once. It was funny. He was less like a psycho Watergate burgler (the image he, of course, cultivates) and more like a cranky old dad.

I can see why Bono. For all his "mysterious ways," he is still a fairly deep thinker and clearly articulate, as well as being a man of deep conviction.
But why Paris Hilton? Seriously.

For all the reasons given, yeah, that's exactly why I'd want to rap with Bono.
Paris Hilton? Jeez, do you need to ask?

But what sets her aside from any other skinny, moderately attractive, bleach blonde, vapid whore?

Again, this differentiates her from the typical vapid whore how?
Which raises a bigger question: what is it about famous people that makes us want to meet them in the first place?
It's one thing to want to meet, as Wednesday, someone with real power and a potential to influence the world. It's another to want to meet someone who is famous for nothing other than, for example, looking attractive or being able to sing.
So why do we want to meet them?

I would meet the author Kurt Vonnegut, because he is a wonderfully talented man.
Also, I would like to meet Mr. Stephen King, because, trash or not, his books make me think.
Finally, I would like to meet George Bush (senior) and kick the shit out of him for raising such a stupid son.
Also, why would you want to meet Paris Hilton? To make you feel smart, or because you want speed-bumps on your penis?

I would want to meet God . Ask him stuff, too. Get the God perspective on things.
Jesus would be interesting to hang out with.
Would also like to meet Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking,Orson Welles, Jackie Kennedy O'nassis, Madame and Pierre Curie, Galileo, Joan of Arc, Curt Swan, Jack Kirby,Louis Pasteur, and George Lucas.

Wouldn't you have to be dead in order to talk to God and Jesus in person (or whatever)? Still, interesting choices. The verdict is still out on Paris 'speed bumps' Hilton

Upon speaking with them in person you most likely would be dead. I handed in my verdict on Rottencrotch Hilton a long time ago.

If God and or Jesus really wanted to communicate with a living guy, they'd do it. They did it before. After all, it's God and God's son. They have powers that make even Superman look like Alfred E. Nueman!
