i think this is a pretty fair and accurate quote. ... which i think goes even further to credit the film.
all its amazing success, $200 million, 10 weeks in the top 15, .... and it wasn't built for any of it! it was just made to be a kick ass film, almost specifically for batfans. yet, it was crafted so perfectly, that, despite its best intentions, it still pulled in much of the country.
