... killer instinct rocked. street fighter II had its glorious moments. samurai showdown was incredible. then, there was NBA jam and teenage mutant ninja turtles... ...but the all time winner? im gonna havta say spy hunter. no game captivated me more. ------------------

Tempest was the shiznit. But, my all-time fave arcade game had to be Centipede. It was the first video game I got really good at. It got to the point where people would see me put my quarter up and they would just leave cuz they knew I'd be on the game for at least an hour. My high score was something like 800,000. Thank Gob for Arcade groupies. That game used to get me all kinds of pussy: "Yeah, I'll put your initials up for high score if you give me your phone number..." I can still get at least 2 or 3 hundred k on that game... I also liked Frogger, Battlezone and Gorf. Could any of you guys play Defender? That was a cool game but, I could never get the hang of making the ship go in reverse...

I also spent far too much money on Elevator Action, and Sinistar.
Deffender( and stargate) fucked with me. I never really got in the habit of using buttons in lieu of joysticks.

elevator action, donkey Kong, donkey kong Jr., spy hunter, tron, the original Double Dragon game. Those games were pretty much my childhood.
And I kicked ass on Double Dragon.

The Street Fighter series was always good.
Marvel SuperHeroes, Marvel vs Capcom, etc.
The AI could put up a decent fight, as well as other players.

Aside from the aforementioned Capcom fighters, I enjoyed Darkstalkers, APB, Avengers, House of the Dead, Crazy Taxi, and Smash TV.

I was always a fan of the X-Men arcade game despite the fact that the mutants had powers that no comic book had ever heard of. It was a great game and the recipient of all my childhood money.

Favorite of all time is Ms. Pac Man. But I found an arcade at D&B's that has this Mega-Man fighter game (as well as all the Street Fighters on it, etc). It's another goodie.
