i ended up missing my chance to watch this ppv  any mentions of bret hart? i read a few rumors that either had hart running in on the hbk/hogan match or stone cold (in an effort to build a stone cold / hogan mania match) i really dunno how the match will end. some of my pals say hogan is a certainty, others say hbk is a certainty. hogan is the face(r) of the two, sure, but only hbk is actually on a roster, so it might hurt his/their thunder to have a non competitor take a huge match. i'd really like for it to be clean, on a hogan/rock v1 level, even if hogan takes the fall. at least it'd be a cool match. but... what're the odds of that, mm?

HBK is punching Hogan in the head & JR gives away that there is about to be a cut job by saying "He is trying to cut Hogan by punching him above the eye!"
You then start watching Hogan & see him do a rather poorly hidden,but big,cut job!
Now whats ridiculous is that a cut like this earlier tonight ended a match by referee decision,yet here the match continues!

i dunno... i think between the hogan/hbk match and the matt hardy return, the wwe had two of the biggest stories / matches in the past few years. ... and worked as hard as they could to fuck them up and remove hype.
i just find it disappointing.
i would have been more hyped for the show had none of them made raw appearances in the past month! hogan vs michaels was a dream wwf matchup for years! matt hardy's crisis was the biggest wrestling buzz story in years!
but instead, they continued to weaken the stories weekly, and both (from the sounds of it) ended with bad finales.

For me,match of the night has to go to Eddie/Rey!
That actually was the match with the worst angle,yet it was the only one that kept its head held high!
The Hardy/Edge match was pure bollocks,with an ending that just should not happen,and the HBK/Hogan match was ruined in the dying minutes!
All that build up for two great feuds,and we get a big handful of nothing at the end!
Its possible that the Hardy/Edge feud will continue,but its now lost its edge (no pun intended) & will now be a run of the mill feud.
The HBK/Hogan feud ended with a whimper,not a bang!
