While the Lions have not won a title during the Super Bowl era, they do have championships from the 50s.

They also made playoff appearances in the 80s and 90s.

People seem to dish on Wayne Fontes, but his teams made the playoffs quite a bit of the time.

Millen and Mariucci have lost this team. Harrington seems utterly lost (there was a recent SI.com article, I believe, stating that Harrington doesn't call the protections and that really all he's expected to do is throw the ball or hand it off...this is a far cry from just about every other NFL QB).

I feel for you, it's an unfortuante situation. I like Harrington. Liked him in college. Thought he would make a good pro. But clearly, they need Garcia in there, someone in whom they can have confidence.
