I would vote "to see what nobody else sees because it isn't there"
rex was the type who would post an observation such as "sneaky bunny joined a nunnery" and leave it at that, no explanation, no back up story, nothing. Was it crash and burn humor or was it low impact stupidity? Some things we were just not meant to know.
