if you have fun, then enjoy them! no reason why you shouldn't, and no one is asking you to stop. i was with the dcmbs at the very beginning, so i know and understand how wonderful a place they can be. its a great outlet, and a free one at that!
however, this discussion was re-sparked by someone (jim) who is not having fun, and those that would agree, for a myriad of reasons. and whether that person is older and a poster for years OR a newly registered 12 year old, the dcmbs, in the odd state they're now in, can be amazingly frustrating. waiting up to 2 days to see your own post or a reply to the conversation is taking "bulletin boards" back 50 years.
as for "mature conversations" ... im not exactly sure where this was mentioned. closest mentioned by me was "serious / fun" -- which ranges the full gamut.
and last, but not least... were the natureboys to exist, and thats rumor at best, wasn't it me that exiled them and hundreds of minions from the dcmbs? (answer: yes)
