Arizona at Oakland this Sunday.

This game has U-G-L-Y written all over it!!!

I think it can be ugly if the Cardinals let their Chicago game linger in their heads. What I saw on Monday night was a Cardinal team that has quite a bit of promise and the sexy brown-eyedness of Matt Leinart.

I think the Cardinals either win this one easily or get totally blown out.

I misspoke. There were only 13 games last weekend. You went 5-8.

That makes you 52-35, 59.77%.

Man, overall, it seemed brutal.

I got only the Bengals, Jets, Pats, Falcons, Colts, and Broncos. I almost took the Vikings, but I know the Hawks are so tough up in the Northwest. The Bucs seem now to love last minute wins. A 62 yard FG???

I feel bad for the Cardinals. They clearly did not move past their crushing loss to the Bears. Denny Green, dead man walking.

On the weekend, I'm 6-7 going into tonight. Seeing all the upsets from this weekend, I'm tempted to switch out and take the Giants.

OK, so I was wrong about the Lions. Not only did they win, they won in spite of some bad penalties when they should have pulled away, and they looked good doing it. The scary thing is that they are playing some not so good teams over the next three weeks, and could find themselves on a four game winning streak if they can pull off three more performances like they did today.

Of course, it's the Lions, so what are the chances of them actually beating the teams they are supposed to beat?

You're supposed to say, "I win again!" That's what you get when you skip rehearsals. I told you Kevin Jones would have a good year and I'm sticking by it. Detroit can still turn this season around.

I wish.

It's why I didn't play this week. I couldn't pick against them, yet I didn't think they'd win.

They did get screwed on the no-call on the interference against T.J. on Palmer's pentulimate pass.

Next is SD in Cincy and at New Orleans.

Gonna be a tough year this year.

The wild card is still well within their range. Depending on how things shake up in the AFC West, Cincy is still a good pick to make the playoffs.

As for the Lions turning their season around...eh. They had a better record at this time last year. Kitna may have some prettier passing totals(s'what happens when you throw 40 times a game), but I keep saying, Harrington wasn't the reason the past teams failed.

Harrington had little to do with past failures. The problems trickle down from the top to the field. Hopefully, the new attitude brought by what seems to be a competent coaching staff can overcome bad management. Could be this game is what this team is about, like the team keeps saying. Then again, could be this game was a fluke like some of the local media thinks. The next three games are all very win-able, so that will say a lot about this team.

I believe to be considered part of a "competent coaching staff" you have to wear pants in the drive through at Wendy's...

Can't blame that one on Marriucci...
