I called her yesterday at about 4pm to see how she was. The surgery on her right eye went well so, according to her, she "can walk in a clear circle". She seemed upbeat, but that might've been the (great) drugs she was on talking. It was outpatient surgery, I believe, so she may still be in her hotel room.

dude, that was you? i remember getting up and walking out to the quad to take a call. don't remember talking to anyone. but it explains the burn on my arm from rubbing up on the brick wall.
And, to be fair, one of my favorite friends there is blind and I take every opportunity available to make fun of that and we're still friends. That guy never fit there. He never got the spirit of the RKMBs. We're gonna keep an eye on the obits, see if he finally left or if he really did have a heart attack.
