Okay, I checked out the first two episodes. This show kicks ass. It's fun, dark, mature, fast-paced, and beautifully shot. In short, it's alot I wish Doctor Who would pick up on. I'll see if I can get the episodes uploaded to Rapidshare for any of you who want to try them...

Yeah, that's the second episode, I believe. Some good girl-on-girl action in that one. The third episode wasn't that great. I'm looking forward to the next one, though. And, the pilot itself was pretty damn good...

They showed the first three episodes back to back last night.
Didnt realise it was on, so missed episode one!
I agree two was better than three though!
Might even watch the new episode tonight, its the Cyber-woman one!
Not bad series, but I think Captain Jack is being wasted character wise.
Too much emphasis on that gap toothed Welsh bint for my liking!
I like the fact its a lot more adult though!

The character I have seen so far, doesnt seem to be the Captain Jack I watched in the first season of Who!
He seems to have lost a lot of the cockiness & replaced it with an ultra serious wise man persona!

I think the reason Jack has changed so much is due to circumstances that have lead him to this series. You really need to see Ep. 1. Look back in the thread. I posted Rapidshare links for the first episode, split into eight RAR files. Get them and watch. There's some speculation, based on things said in that episode, as to just how long Jack's actually been back in the 21st century. Last time we saw him was in Eccleston's finale, where he was left in the far future. Some speculate he traveled back too far (somehow) and has been waiting for about thirty or more years for The Doctor to show up again. Having been stuck in this time for that long might have soured him a bit. Not to mention other revelations about what effects the "Bad Wolf" left on him after the Who finale...

Like the fact he hasnt aged if thats the case and he has some sort of power thats transferred by kissing!
I do like the attention to detail with his uniform.
It obviously harks back to WWII, but the fact his handgun is also a WWII artifact, adds so much more than just have him use a modern automatic or something!
