It's gotta be new. No old characters, settings, or acronyms. It's time to do something fresh and start from scratch. Challenge yourself by not doing the same ole same ole. Let's just build this from the ground up.

Ok for the characters, place and names. But, what about the structure? It's going to be again a team with a character for each poster, or something different? Like a true round robin without role-playing elements, and a fixed number of primary and secondary characters?

I agreed to the previous guidelines because I believe in their effectiveness in group writing. I'm following them and would like others to do the same. A person with too many characters isn't going to be as effective a writers. Keep it simple.

Thanks for the answer.
What I was asking was if each one poster must have a character, or if the story had just a single main character written by all writers, not if a poster could have many. But now it's all clear.

Yes.
What they're not telling you is that they're all the same lab.
And every scientist behind every superhuman discovery is just a different personality in the same guy's head.
Now that's a premise.

Thanks. Something new. Something different. Something not in a research lab. And, don't worry, I plan on only using one character...

That's exactly what I was thinking when I read his post! "Did Mxy mention this to Pro already?"
And dammit, Pro, I was going to have a blonde/green eyed character this time. Damn your telepathy!

Hmmm...given that two pirates in the same story might be too much, I volunteer to let mine slide and try something else, if anyone wants. Besides, I like the name "Johnny Fuck"...

Actually, I realized it wasn't necessary that he was a pirate. So I removed the pirate hat, replaced the pirate sword with a katana and made him a simple space bad-ass. Think Adam Strange meets Wolverine.
I might make him a space cowboy, now that I think about it. A time pirate and a space cowboy in the same story: think of the possibilities.

Quick question for you guys...I've been trying to come up with a design for Bellatrix, but I'm torn between two opposite ends. Do I go for 'bulky' armor: Or something a bit more 'slender'. I've spent hours on Wikipedia, and I've discover I know nothing about robot-people. I'm still not sure if there's a difference between a cyborg, a mechanoid, or an andriod. Seesh. However, I draw the line at this:

CJ, a mechanoid is a robot, which is a completely mechanical creation. It does not resemble a human, even though it might have two arms, two legs, a torso, and a head.
A Cyborg is a human who has been artificially enhanced with artificial replacement limbs and or internal organs, eyes, ears, etc.
An andriod is a synthetic being, made to resemble humans, and to function as a human, or as close to human as possible.
You might go with a form of lightweight but durable armor.

Actually CJ, I kind of dig that last pic of the woman. You should go for something akin to that. Bulky armor is so manga, in my opinion. What about something like The Engineer from The Authority?

OK, I couldn't think of anything but I looked through this thread and see people talking about time pirates and space cowboys and think to myself "what this story needs is a ninja from an alternate reality", and there you go: Arai Katsu.
