Eurostar said: I don't really know if it will be a good character to write. Maybe, he is not tailored to live in a group environment, maybe he could be like Hulk and the power could leave Emmanuel after some time, leaving him as a normal man... I don't know, I am open to imputs, especially iof the other writers will be uneasy to write him...
The Spectre rarely worked well in the Justice Society, after all, IMO.
Well, let's just wait and see. There is some advantage to having an aspect of this world where a Spectre/Hulk-like character exists as a threat. Still, won't give you much to do for a character if we treat him like that. I wouldn't want him around all the time if that were the case. The best thing about the Hulk's rampages and Spectre's devastation is that it only happens every so often. Still, let's just wait and see how it progresses.
There seems to be an assumption that we are building another group of "heroes", or another Vanguard or MBL. In fact, I'd be rather interested in not neccessarily doing this, per se. With the ragtag of characters we are putting together, it seems that many...if not all...will have their own personal reasons or motives for doing anything. For example, from his first post, I'm lead to believe that Katsu will actually be looking for a way back home. I could be wrong, of course. But, then again, look at Bellatrix. She seems motivated by the metaphorical "noose" that is always around her neck. What would she do to be free?
Anyway, these are just inital observations. We'll see how it all goes.
SPAM : Honestly, I guess what I'm saying is that I'm not too comfortable with Sawyer even knowing of Frasier's existence. I wanted to create and work him in as a loner, motivated by his own personal needs. So, while I guess Sawyer could know about him through rumor, legend, or historical text, what I got from it was that he was waiting on him for a planned meeting, or something. But, I could have read it wrong. And, I'd rather that not be the case.
Again, we'll wait and see...
