It happens. Helps to keep us from burning out. If I don't want to make another post yet, I'm not going to force myself. Then, after a day or two, I'll sit down and knock out a huge chunk. Then, take another few days. It's a cycle. Sit back and get comfortable. We rarely move too fast on the writing front...

Okay! I am finally at the point where I am writing almost every day, myself. I plan on writing other stories soon that have nothing to do at all with The Champions, though I enjoy writing about them.
As you can see, Darmo is in for the fight of his life.. against an even more powerful robot than he!
Will he defeat Martan? Will he be able to find Carol's brother in the devastation that used to be LA? Stay tuned!
I like this thread a lot! It got me to write about things and people that are outside the continuity of what I normally write about.

At some point, I would like to reveal a bit more about Seven's character, past, and powers but, thus far, the story is really not presenting me much opportunity. I would like to say something definitive now to avoid confusion later... but I would rather any revelations as to any of that stuff happen organically rather than feel forced. If you have any questions, send me a PM. I may or may not give a satisfactory answer based on the nature of the question.
Also, Euro, not to step on your toes, but I reworded the 'reveal' about Emmanuel in my post to give more interaction between Li and Seven and to break it up into a conversation format. I think Seven would be reacting to that info rather than just digesting it all in one take. Lemme know what you think...

I did a bit of editing in Darmo, too.. the evil robot who has just appeared to confront Darmo is now called R - Tran. I prefer this name to the one I had previously assigned him.

I love your theory, it's great. It's also far from the nebolous ideas I have got, so I have to make some thinking. One thing, though: Shoemaker is dead. So, unless Seven can talks to dead people, no onr can know the whole about the experiment. But there could be stll other scientists. that knows bits of it. I will PM you in a day or two, right now I have my kid sleeping in my arms and typing is a pain.

I'm pretty much waiting to see how the whole LA thing gets resolved before continueing much further. I'll start thinking of how to dove-tail my character in with all this other stuff then.

Chewy : Darmo has yet to ... pull himself back together and find Carol's brother, who may or may not have become a crispy critter in the LA blast. It's really a peripheral story, more meant to acknowledge the actual event than to do anything about it, which I leave up to you.
This all depends on whether Darmo is history or not!

I was just wondering if you wanted Darmo to end up in LA or not, which I thought you were building toward. If not, that's cool.
