Got any advice for the next time, then? I looked through the thread and all I had to go on were two story post, so far as I can tell. I didn't see anything in this talk thread to help me out, either.

I mean, how serious is he? More sardonic? This is pretty tough for everyone right now, because it's difficult to get inside the writer's head to get inside the character's thread. Does that make sense?

Granted, I don't have Bellatrix fleshed out completely (actually, she just doesn't have that much flesh period...heh heh heh). But with more posts, it becomes easier to 'get' the character. For example, I'm pretty sure Doc doesn't want his robot tap-dancing, and no one should write Euro's spectre singing 'Ridin' Dirty'.

Personally, this 'unfamiliar ground' of another character has always slowed my progress...didn't at one time we had a sort of 'character bible' where people put notes on what to do and what could not be done with their characters?
