The Roofies (or the ROOF Awards - RKMBs Our Own Fucking Awards) are drawing nigh! However, as one of the forum mods, I'm trying to garner some ways to up involvement this year. For example - should we add some new categories? We have sixteen currently, but should we take a cue from the Razzies and honor both the best and worst from 2006? Should we do separate categories for comedies and dramas ala the Golden Globes? Any feedback you might have here would be appreciated. Also, if there are categories other than these that you would like to see added to this year's awards, let us (the mods) know. Thanks - and stay tuned for the 2007 Roofies!

well, I guess Klinton will be voting for My Little Pony: A Very Pony Place for best animated feature...
Oh, and Chewy I like the way the Golden Globes does it more than the Academy awards..Maybe more in line with them, and maybe you could combine TV and movies...

We actually have a separate TV award - The Bobbies - which coincides more with the Emmys. However, we also split between comedy and drama there, so the split for the film awards (at least in the acting and Best Picture categories) wouldn't be much of a stretch.

I do think we could have a movie-so-bad-I-can't-believe-I-wasted-my-money-to-see-it category as - without fail - every year Hollywood manages to put out some shit that is so-bad-I-can't-believe-I-wasted-my-money-to-see-it that you have to wonder how the fuck it got approved and funded...
