Bruce (Edward Norton), Betty (Liv Tyler) and now, Emil Blonsky have been cast in the upcoming Hulk movie, with Tim Roth stepping into the Abomination’s (or at least Emil Blonsky's) big shoes, this according to Variety.
From the trade’s description of the character:
Blonsky is a KGB agent who deliberately exposes himself to the gamma rays that caused Bruce Banner to morph into the Hulk. Blonsky has upped the dosage, making him larger and stronger than the Hulk, but unable to change back to human form. He blames Banner for his problem, and makes his best efforts to destroy the Hulk.
The film will be directed by Louis Leterrier, distributed by Universal, and is slated to open on June 13th, 2008.
great casting so far. but as I said earlier, the first film had a good cast and still sucked. keep your fingers crossed.
This reminds me of an episode of the old Hulk tv show called "The Other Hulk."
