Basically saying Joker's in with Dent somehow. Maybe he finances Dent's campaign or something. That might explain the "I Believe in Dent TOO!" stuff.

You're right. He does need an (non-terrified) audience. And Knightfall? Damn, that seems a long time ago - I forgot about his team up. Harley and the animated series were in a class by themselves though. And their match up isn't forced (to me, at least) bc they are part of the same crew, so they're not thrown together just for the sake of...
