Yes. I leave my computer on all day till I go to bed... I am often logged into here, even while I am out. If I were unable to be invisible, it would make it appear as though I was sitting here all day and all night! um....thats what it looks like now.

The way it worked with the old boards is that if you didn't log off you wouldn't show up on the online page. I think its shorter than that now but I'm not sure.

I think its shorter than that now but I'm not sure. the online bit lasts for 60 minutes. if you don't click on anything for 60 minutes, you'll eventually drift off of the "who's online" page. "who's online" actually means "who's active online" so, for posters like the secretive old hermit guy, you wouldn't appear to be online 24/7. Seriously, why is this a problem for you guys? its not really a problem, per se. its not like i see it as some personal offense, or whatever. hell, i can see everyone online, even the invisible. i just don't really understand the need for it. seems counter-community. like, now, for example, there are 8 invisible posters. if all of those names were visible, the sight of one or more online might inspire another person to wanna post. like, "oh, harley's online. she's got really hot boobs, i think i'll say hi" 'cept now, they can't do that, cuz you're invisible.
