its sorta like my favorite political activist chris rock commented about OJ. his trial wasn't about race, it was about fame. if OJ was a simple city bus driver, he'd be "orenthal, the murdering bus driver" in jail. cut and dry, no pun intended.

the issue here is that its difficult to associate benoit with this type of heinous act. there are 10 or so other people in his very field that some sorta crime would seem almost typical (austin, hall, savage, etc). but benoit seemed so very unlikely. the puzzle pieces, when presented with them, just don't seem to fit.

but the truth is, they do. and if things turn out to even resemble what the current story says... thats awful.
