Just watched it. Not terrible, but not great either. I have to agree that the humor was way too goofy. Agent V. Elrond, Queen of the Desert didn't do a bad job, but he seemed to be copying Welker's Megatron through most of those lines. Why the hell not just get Welker, save some money, and give the fans even more of what they want? The CGI was great and everything looked good, but there were too damn many slow-motion shots. Michael Bay, learn how to direct, you douchebag. Megatron was terribly underused. He was basically just there to spout off old lines from the original movie. The concept of the All-Spark wasn't bad. I just think that the script was full of plot holes and lame jokes. Despite what the writers said, this wasn't about being true to the Transformers mythos. It was about a big budget action flick with a lot of explosions and special effects. All in all, it just didn't have what I remembered liking about the Transformers and what made me watch it.
