- Michael Benoit, the father of Chris Benoit told The Edmonton Sun that his body has been cremated. He wouldn't confirm whether his son's ashes are in his hometown of Edmonton nor did he say what the family would do with the ashes. He did however say the family would speak publicly about Chris in the future, but for now they need more time.
